ENERGY Hackathon

The ENERGY Hackathon puts student teams in front of genuine problems from Alberta's electricity system and gives them a fixed window to build something that works. It is equally a talent pipeline — a route for students to meet the utilities and researchers working in the field. The Hackathon has run annually since 2021.
